Faves

Found this lipgloss in my pile of lipglosses. I've probably had it for over 2 years now, but it's my new fave! I find myself going back to it, over and over again. It's a lot more sheer than how it looks in the tube.

Beauty Mask

I've been using the Freeman Facial Clay Mask for about 6 months now. It works really well. Best of all it does what it is supposed to do. It purifies your pores, firms and smoothes skin.

Just apply it on your face with your fingers, they are your best tools, and leave it to dry. Wash it off with lukewarm water and pat dry. Moisturize as usual.

This mask is also very inexpensive. Thumbs up for being cheap!

Go out and get this clay mask! The Freeman brand offers other masks, so I plan on checking those out. If I do I will definitely blog about it here.

You can find it at your local Walmart

DIY: Lemon Scrub

Recently my skin has been acting up, weather, hormones and what not. I became very frustrated and started using my regular technique to get rid of acne. However, I came across a video on YouTube on this lemon scrub; it works wonders! So I wanted to blog about this DIY.

Needed:
- lemon juice
- cosmetic cotton round
- granulated sugar (white or brown)

STEP 1: Juice 1 lemon; an alternative is prepared lemon juice which comes in bottles.

STEP 2: Saturate the cotton pad in the lemon juice.

STEP 3: Add about a teaspoon of sugar on the cotton pad.

STEP 4: Make sure your face has been cleansed and use the cotton pad to exfoliate. Try to focus on the problem areas.

STEP 5: Wash your face with lukewarm water and pat dry. Your face should be extremely soft now :)

STEP 6: Moisturize. I like to moisturize with olive oil. It keeps my face soft and lightens up my acne scars!

Day One

Hey everyone,

I started this blog because I wanted a place where I can write about interesting beauty and fashion tips. I already have a personal blog on Tumblr (http://saudiak.tumblr.com) but I figured why not share my fantastic knowledge about beauty and fashion.

I have a different way of taking care of my skin and I don't really have a sense of fashion. I kind of just buy random pieces and put it together at home.

Let's see how this goes. I will try to update daily with some great tips and possibly tutorials.
